If I was chosen to add a constitutional amendment it would not be easy figuring out what to add. Off the top of my head I would probably choose to add a amendment that limits government spending and how much money the government gives out and to whom. Some people are receiving Social Security checks for literally nothing, they are able to work, and able to live yet they cheat the system. Also the government need to be limited by the people.

There not really anything I can think of that I would want to believe in again, as we grow up our beliefs are sometimes cut off but it's part of reality and growing up. Of course we still believe in things and we should continue to believe in things like goals, people, and religion. On the contrary some believes, such as creatures, "Santa", and things that aren't real. It is good to have a sense of imagination, but as we grow we must realize that we have to grow up and face reality.

I think we all can seem big a times and really are just hiding how small we are inside, and in other instances I think we feel small to our surroundings when really we are full of potential. I don't know any one person who is small inside or big inside. Its more of at the moment kind of feeling I think. Sometimes I feel small to the world but then realize I have big potential, and other times I act big when really i'm feeling small. But most of the time i think were half and half, just ourselves and showing who we truly are.

I agree with this article. I think people spend in the now and need to think of long term effects. I've never had this problem because ever since i was little my mom always taught me to save my money and not to spend it on "junk". I guess it just clicks with me. As I get older i realize myself wanting to buy more expensive, meaningful things and by saving from a young age I can buy them.

Tribes, what do they really mean? We are all part of "tribes" from our friends, to teams, and common interests we all are in a type of "tribe".

I regain my energy in both being a Extrovert and an Introvert. Depending on the situation I seek out different ways to fill my energy. If it is a personal or inside problem I use myself to think and reflect. If i'm just feeling down a party or socially iterative event(s) can help. I think Introverts have more time to think, reflect and become better people, but on the same note Extroverts have the chance to make mistakes and have other support as well as observe and relate to others. If the world was full of Extroverts the world would be a more connected place and we would all support and interact. If the whole world were Introverts

There Is No Perception Only Reality

"You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses" -Ziggy
This quote along with the chapter is about how you see the world, people, life, and yourself. I like this quote because it puts the decision with you but at the same time presents two opposite perspectives. If you really think about it this quote makes a simple but great point. It asks if you see situations as the bad or do you bring out the good? The bad being "complain because roses have thorns" and the good "rejoice because thorns have roses". The best way to see thing is to bring the good it is the key to a more happy life.

Thought For The Day

"Life rewards action" Action without action there is no reaction, no reward, no consequences. To have a great life with full of nice people, and things is a reaction of what you do now and in the future. If you act upon ideas, people and life itself you will be rewarded with nice things, but the problem is we are scared to put ourselves out there and act. We all think it "easier" to lay back and watch others act upon life when in reality we should be out there fulfilling our life's, dreams, hopes, and passions. Once we can all get past the point of getting off our butts, then we can go out there and act upon what we want. And if we do this life will reward, you with the thing that make your life enjoyable.

Mark Twain

Samuel Langhorne Clemens, one of the greatest writers and realist of his and our time. He was famous for the Writings of "Tom Sawyer" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". Throughout his time he wrote many famous and inspiring quotes including, "I have never let my schooling interfere with my education" and "Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been. You may not have heard of mark twain but you probably have heard of his vast writing and collections. He was and still is one of the greatest writer of our time.

Walt Whitman

Recently we have been reading about Walt Whitman and we were assigned to read a poem from his vast collection. As I began to search through the many poems I could not seem to find a poem to write about. Myself being more of a realist guy found all of his poems, lacking any sense or moral. Many of his poems have no meaning or relation to me, and they all seem to project mixed ideas that have no form. Therefore I decided not to pick a selection to analyze it but to question the work of Walt Whitman. What do you think visit this site and tell me if you pull any "real" ides or theme from his writings?

Economy Check?

As you all most likely know  the economy is down and many of our leaders are trying to fix it. One of the ways Obama is trying to fix the economy is to print more "money". This money just adds to our all ready huge 14 Trillion US federal debt. When it comes down to the facts this money is supposed to be put into businesses but it usually ends up lost in the system and not doing any good but rather adding to our debt. When the money gets through to do actual good its only a short term effect and the economy usually go's back to the down state. Many politicians            disagree with these spending plans but the bills still  pass. What do you think? Should we keep spending, or find an alternative way to fix the economy? I believe you the people decide. (Picture courtesy of nydailynews.com)
