As judge DeSalvo I would most likely rule in favor of Anna. I would choose this because I believe that children/teens should have more rights and freedoms such as voting and in this case medical decisions. Anna was unwillingly subjected to endure pain and suffering for the benefit of her sister along with the mentality that she was only born to save her sister not her own person. In ruling the way the Judge did i feel Anna would be given freedom of her own body and mentality. Although sad that Kate will most likely be in critical condition or dead due to this decision it is necessarily to give the inalienable freedom to Anna that her parents took away. As Sara I would feel torn in two direction sympathy for Anna and understanding of the pain and mental stress, but also for Kate not having a chance at life because of her condition. In the end I would respect Anna's decision. As Campbell I would feel as if Anna needed freedom and from progression of the case grew closer to her as her Uncle of some sort, as opposed to the first few meetings and hearings.

Throughout all time science and technology has broke barriers and has been argued to intrude on the natural prostheses of life, death, and basically everthing in-between. It has always been debated and argued, but the bottom line is progress. Scientific and technological innovations/inventions cant be stopped the are progressive and that's how we evolve as people. On that note, they can be restricted new processes sciences and transformations can be altered to be "humane" and respect the basic laws of life. Recently in order to save children and others with genetic diseases a new process has been developed of basically having another child to save an existing one.

Holocaust

The holocaust was a time of darkness and little truth or reason. This is why so many people died and suffered. We can compare this to the "Dark ages" a period in time where not many discoveries were made, no information was spread, people did what others told them through "blind faith". So as a result people were easily manipulated and misguided into making bad choices and causing horrible events to take place. During this time no one questioned authority or why thing were done the way they were. This compares very closely to the holocaust because in Germany, it was begging a dark age with the collapse of the economy and Hitler used this to rise to power and manipulate and control a nation that didn't question his ideas, his motives or his horrific plans. They didn't challenge him because the needed someone in a time of downfall and they didn't care who, as long as they promiced hope. So as said before they were using a blind faith, this caused them to make decisions and follow orders that they didn't beloved or agree with, although they did have a choice and the choices they made they must live with. Germany was misled but they chose there path and that makes them who they were.

In chapter one Atticus basically is viewed as a human being by Jem and Scout, they see his weaknesses and relate to him for the first time. Throughout the years i've seen my parents weaknesses and its made me relate to them and its made us closer. Ive realized that we all have problems and no ones perfect which helps in life.

During my childhood I loved to explore and ask why as scout did, me and my sister were always looking for an adventure. I would defiantly be friends with scout as a child. Jem and Dill would also be my friends. We would probably explore the wood near my house.

We all have our own instructions that we've adopted for our life's, based on our family friends and influences as a child and growing up all of these people have had a part in the making of your instructions for life. My instructions for life change as my moral changes each day is a different day and my in-the-now instructions could to to slide by the day or be outstanding and make an impact on the world. My base instructions for my life are to be the best I can be and always be nice to everyone although sometimes we don't follow these instructions the still stand true to our character.
